its 9:20 Monday night...finally sitting on the sofa, showered, Mexican dinner (out) , and a whole-lot-o labor this labor day weekend. i am too tired to post photos tonight, but we were roofers for the weekend...it was major progress, but not fun. i managed to lift 4x8 sheets of plywood (about 30 of them) up the roof to john...who needs a gym. and, john is impressed that i now run the worm saw like a pro.
we are glad it is a short "work" week...but does work ever end, not in this part of the woods. Glad to be spending a lot of time together though, it is a true test, and we are passing.
after about 3 hours of removing 4 layers of tar paper, 200 staples and about 500 nails...we have a clean surface...
